Fred Reinecke Sr. and family founded Febco in 1924 after previously spending 25 years associated as a franchise of John A. Brooks Company in Detroit. They began with manufacturing backflow preventers and automatic sprinklers and worked their way up to today’s product line that encompasses all aspects of backflow prevention and additional backflow products. Febco has taken ingenuity and experience to advance their products and earn a trusted position as providers of backflow prevention for water authorities, municipalities, and communities. Febco was founded when in 1924, following a 25 year long franchise with the John A. Brooks Company in Detroit, Michigan ended. Fred Reinecke Sr. and his family members began to produce automatic sprinkler systems and backflow preventers for use by the irrigation industry. Since the founding, Febco has expanded their line of products to cover the needs of the industry with related products that are needed.

Febco 850 Series Double Check Valve Assemblies

Designed for applications in non-health hazard, Febco’s Double Check Valve Assemblies Series 850 offer prevention of backflow in pollutants that are not toxic yet objectionable. These will not be able to enter the potable water supply. This product has a body of bronze and ball valve end connections that are threaded.

Febco 825Y Series Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies

Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies Series 825Y by Febco are mainly used to provide protection form very toxic fluids that pose a high hazard for the water servicing of hospitals, morgues, industrial plants, chemical plants and mortuaries. These are also selected widely for use in boiler feed, irrigation systems, water lines and other instances when maximum protection is required.

Pressure Vacuum Breakers Series 765 by Febco was produced for installation in order to protect from back sihonage of liquids that are toxic as well as non-toxic. These products have a bronze body that is very durable, check valve and air opening port in one complete assembly.
