Although the noise reduction looks flimsy under the sink it actually does the job. The sink is quiet when the water is running on the bottom or walls. The steel is good quality and sturdy. We''ve changed from a dual bowl sink to one and deeper. Great move for us, the one bowl is more spacious than the two bowl version in a smaller footprint. On a tangent subject, it was our first purchase from FaucetDepot.com and I have to say we were impressed by the communication, quality and promptness of shipping and of course price (way less than the local showroom).
