Composite Kitchen Sinks are undeniably eye catching and rich with texture. Likened to soft leather these sinks look great in all types design styles, from contemporary to traditional. Composite sinks are made from a combination of at least two types of materials and come in three categories; acrylic, quartz and granite. Most sinks start with 85% or more of a rock like material melded together with blends of resins for toughness and durability. These sinks are heat resistant up to 500 degrees and are less venerable to get dings and scratches from dropping pots and pans in the sink. The mostly granite composite sinks are the most expensive but you get what you pay for. Compared to its popular cousin the stainless steel kitchen sink you will pay a little more but if texture and a vast variety of colors is what you’re after, then there is no substitution for composite kitchen sinks.
