Great little gem!
This is a well-made, simple device. There is a bit of a learning curve and you will need an ample powered right angle drill. I go through clay and rocky driveway/walkway bases with relative ease. For the price and once you get the hang of it, it can either be a real money-maker or a money-saver for you. Quick tips - the water jet, in my area, has only been good for keeping the bit occasionally cool and rpms consistent. Don't run the water constantly or you'll make a huge mud pit that you have to be in. Every little vibration will tell you what you are encountering. Slow and steady wins this race, but you should be able to traverse a 16' driveway in a morning. I've used black steel and galvanized steel pipe with no problems.

VERY Helpful
Had to go 22 feet under my driveway and the Perfecto Hydro Drill 1502 did a great job. OK but it wasn't easy because of the large number of rocks that I encountered. But I was still able to make to all the way !

Good value for price
Did the job through a gravel base. Better plan on a sump hole for water collection and a pump to remove it. A flex or universal joint would be great to keep everything out of the water.

Well worth the money
This Hydro Drill worked better than I expected. I used it to drill a 42' long hole for conduit under a driveway and side walk in heavy clay/rocky soil. This saved me so much work!
