For residential and light commercial use, the 1/3 HP, automatic 6-CIA sump pump provides efficient and reliable service. Pump has a 1-1/2" discharge with an 18' maximum head. Cast iron motor housing is oil-filled for lifetime lubrication and excellent heat dissipation. Polycarbonate cover and polypropylene volute-base.
Typical applications include commercial, industrial, and home uses where liquid must be transferred or recirculated.
Its great working well
I replaced an eight year old 6-CIA pump in my back yard waterfall. I thought to defeat the switch, but if the pond goes low, the unit will shut off and would not burn out.
I bought one of these pumps about 8 yrs. ago & it finally quit. I used it as a sump pump in a crawl space. Worked great. Shopped for a replacement on line & found that Faucet Depot's pricing with free shipping couldn't be beat. They had a quick delivery lead time. Highly recommend Company & the pump.
This is the second one I have purchased and third one in my home. They appear to last about 5 years before failing. The Faucet Depot has great prices and thier customer service was terrific. I highly recomend buying this pump from faucetdepot.com
Needed desperately to keep garage from flooding.
this is my 2nd little giant pump, now that's it's made in mexico instead of indiana, only time will tell
My father owned a Little Giant sump pump like this one for 19 yrs till the switch finally started acting up. I found this great deal online for a new pump, so I talked him into buying a new one and we fixed the old up to be used as a back-up. I was so impressed with the quality and reliability that I purchased a Little Giant for myself and replaced my current sump that has a float switch that regularly goes bad. My sump runs a LOT more than my father's so we will see if this Little Giant gives me the same longevity and reliability.
Fast delivery, pump as described.
Same pump as original type installed 11 years ago. Switch went bad. Replaced complete pump instead of replacing switch. Fits in pit nicely with a Bulldog battery backup pump.
We have nine years on a Little Giant sump pump and it is still running. However, it is covered in rust.
the one I had before lasted for many years
